Cassandra Fatouros, MBA, LCSW
Managing Director and Partner
Cassandra Fatouros is a strategic, behavioral healthcare executive with extensive experience in a variety of leadership roles in some of our nation’s leading providers of health insurance and treatment. Much of her 20+ years of leadership experience has centered around organizational turnarounds, revenue diversification, strategic planning, and employee engagement.
With master’s degrees in social work and business, Cassandra has focused her career on behavioral healthcare nonprofit and for-profit organizations. As the CEO of Prototypes, a $20-million nonprofit in Southern California, she stabilized the organization’s financial performance; diversified revenue by securing 7 managed care contracts, a $1 million-dollar endowed gift and developing an ongoing fundraising program; and led the founding Board through a strategic planning process, while transitioning from a founding Board of 5 to a diverse one of 13 members with strong governance. With a clear focus on quality, Cassandra led the organization through their first 3-year CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) while also maintaining strong employee engagement (93% of employees “I like my job”) and Client Satisfaction (92%).
At Elements Behavioral Health, Cassandra managed a budget of $120-million and over 1,200 employees at 40 locations. She completed a re-organization resulting in annualized savings of $60-million while centralizing and standardizing key administrative functions. Other key initiatives included a transition to insurance financed treatment and implementation of tools to improve assessments, including overdose risk. Cassandra has also worked in a variety of clinical roles and in leadership roles at United Behavioral Health and PacifiCare Health Systems.
Currently, Cassandra is a Senior Lecturer at the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work and a Managing Director and Principal at Capstone Solutions Consulting Group. She is also certified as an Executive Coach.
